Newborn Specialist Baby Nurse needed for friendly and warm family living in Miami is seeking a full-time Newborn Specialist/ Baby Nurse beginning within theFriendly and warm family living in Miami is seeking a full-time Newborn Specialist/ Baby Nurse beginning within the next three weeks. Some flexibility on this start date is preferred, to account for an early labor. The schedule will be Monday-Thursday from 8pm-8am. These are repeat clients of ours, and their current nanny, who we placed, is happy and loves her job!
The ideal nanny is someone who is polished, professional, and experienced in similar roles. Flexibility is key, as well as superb care for infants. Newborn Specialist/ Baby Nurse will be responsible for full care of the infant, including but not limited to maintaining hygiene, bottle and meal preparation, sanitizing bottles, infant laundry, play time, organization of materials and baby’s items, and communicating needs when items need purchased. Ability to travel on holidays is highly preferred.
Newborn Specialist/ Baby Nurse MUST…
– be legally authorized to work in the USA for at least one year
– be willing to travel
– have a recent Whooping Cough vaccines
– be able to climb stairs and lift up to 35 lbs.
– hold a valid CPR/First Aid certification or will renew
– have three professional references in childcare
– have 3 years of recent experience working with newborns, with references
– have a warm and calm disposition, able to take the reins with confidence, but step back when need be
– be responsible for infant areas: laundry, bottles, diaper pail trash, light housekeeping, food prep, organizing toys
– be cooperative and work together as a team, and give and receive new ideas and approaches
– have impeccable communication skills, and understand the unique relationship of private care in someone’s home
Special consideration given to those candidates who have flexibility to start earlier than planned, in the case of an early labor, and flexibility to provide coverage for the other caregiver should they be unable to come to work. Newborn Care Specialist certificate or training is highly desired. A high preference will be given to candidates who can travel during some holidays at an overtime rate. Salary for four nights is $920-1300/week DOE.
