While working at The Victory Center for Autism, founder Thalya Olmos noticed a recurring challenge. “Whenever a child was too sick to attend school, it created tremendous stress for the parents,” she recalls. “But for families with children who have special needs, calling a regular babysitter just wasn’t an option. They needed someone with the right training, patience, and heart.”
Determined to fill that gap, Thalya launched what was originally known as Elite Nannies On Call. From day one, her goal was clear: to provide families—especially those with children facing developmental or behavioral challenges—with access to highly trained, compassionate nannies who could meet their unique needs.

Today, Elite Nannies Miami has grown into a premier, luxury nanny placement agency serving families throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties—and beyond. Starting this journey wasn’t without its challenges. “In the beginning, it feels like a never-ending process,” Thalya admits. “But if your purpose is rooted in something bigger—like contributing to a child’s growth—it fuels you every step of the way.”
She believes that humility, a strong team, and a commitment to lifelong learning have been the cornerstones of the company’s success. “I never assume I know everything,” she says. “Our families teach us as much as we teach them.”

“I always had a desire to do some sort of social entrepreneurship, and life just happened to work out this way. Had I paused and thought about doing this [business]. I would have never done it; too many things would have stopped me. All I knew is that I wanted to make an impact, and so when I saw the opportunity, I just went for it.”
And the vision has only grown.
