Get to Know Ms. Amrin:

My name is Amrin and I have recently completed Montessori Teachers College Training +plus classroom experience in a classroom.  I have had the opportunity to work with children from the ages of 3- 15 years old in one-to-one settings to groups up to 20 children at a time.  The children received diverse lessons, presentations and even cooking classes.  My curriculum is unique due to the usage of various approaches I have studied. Learned, and acquired over the last 10 years. I Am CPR and First Aid certified, I love to travel and even teach about various geographic locations (age-appropriate). I love hands-on learning, teaching self-care, teaching/inspiring in a passionate professional way.  I like to lead by example, teach children independence, nurture their curiosity and foster their educational, emotional and social development.

Basically, I love working with children, from all ages and all abilities.  My background is in Gifted, Montessori, Reggio, and private education population  up to age 15- please see my Food Map project here! I have B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and am working on my Master’s at Barry University.
