We are a warm and welcoming family residing in Fisher Island, Miami, deeply committed to providing a nurturing environment for our three amazing children, ages 13, 11, and 9. One of our children is on the autism spectrum, and we are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our household and support their growth and development.

Job Description:

As a full-time nanny/educator, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and educational support for our children, with a special focus on our child with autism. Your responsibilities will include:

– Providing one-on-one care and support tailored to the needs of each child, particularly our child with autism.
– Implementing and adapting educational and behavioral strategies, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to foster our child’s development.
– Engaging in various activities designed to stimulate and inspire our children’s interests and abilities.
– Cultivating a positive and supportive environment where our children can thrive and flourish.
– Collaborating closely with our family and other caregivers to ensure the well-being and happiness of our children.
– Assisting with transportation as needed, utilizing a valid driver’s license (a driver is available, but occasional driving may be required).

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

– Previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum is essential.
– Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques is highly desirable.
– A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– The ability to adapt to changing schedules and routines with ease.
– A polite, patient, and calm demeanor, especially in challenging situations.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A proactive and enthusiastic approach to childcare, with a genuine passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
