First time mommies Elite Nannies On Call Miami – Surviving with a Toddler- As a first time parent myself, I usually find myself questioning, “Am I doing this whole parent thing right” or “why do I feel so overwhelmed with my toddler?” Luckily I stumbled onto this informative blog: Thriving with a Toddler, tips to shift from surviving to enjoying your time with your young ones.  I was so happy to feel that I am not the only parent out there trying to survive during these formative years.  I felt so bad thinking that I was not trying hard enough to be patient, loving, understanding, thus making me a bad parent.  This article provides such great tips for communicating and managing toddlers and especially for “positive guidance”.   As a new mommy and working with child care professionals as well, I have encountered many parents, nannies and families that are concerned with a toddler’s growing development vs. discipline.  For this reason I thought it would be a great idea to share with all of you, especially our nannies who work so hard in making a difference in the children they care for.
