Chosen books are not only fun and colorful–but also deemed vital to babies’ early development. To help caregivers, Elite Nannies on Call prepared a list of the best books for babies and infants for the 2015.
Last year, the chorus became even louder when the American Academy of Pediatrics issued a new recommendation that caregivers should read aloud to children every day starting at birth. Choosing a book for an infant, however, can be a bigger challenge than sitting down to read it. To help caregivers, Elite Nannies on Call prepared an annual list of the top books published in the previous year for babies and infants.
Here’s the Best Books for Babies and infants list:
The Little Dump Truck by Margery Cuyler
Global Baby Boys by Maya Ajmera
Baby Animal Farm by Karen Blair
Clare Beaton’s Garden Rhymes by Clare Beaton
Little Poems for Tiny Ears by Lin Oliver
Who Flies, Cat the Cat? by Mo Willems
Baby Pig Pig Talks by David McPhail
Say Hello Like This! by Mary Murphy
Honk, Honk! Baa, Baa! by Petr Horacek
Chosen books are not only fun and colorful–but also deemed vital to babies’ early development. So when it comes to reading to your kids, start early, do it often and if you need to, take baby steps.
