This is a short-term role, available immediately through the end of November, offering flexible weekday hours (Monday through Friday, 4 to 6 hours per day). The nanny will focus on implementing a Montessori-inspired daily routine while also managing age-appropriate nanny responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will blend high-quality childcare with Montessori-based learning throughout the child’s day. Duties will include both educational and traditional nanny tasks:
Educational & Developmental Duties

Design and lead Montessori-based learning activities tailored to the child’s age and stage

Support language development, emotional regulation, and early motor skills

Foster independence, curiosity, and creativity through play and hands-on tasks

Encourage early literacy and numeracy with gentle, age-appropriate methods

Prepare and rotate Montessori learning materials as needed
Childcare Duties

Provide nurturing care and create a safe, emotionally secure environment

Manage meals, snacks, and nap schedules in coordination with the family

Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the child (e.g., tidying play areas, laundering child’s clothes)
